Q: What exactly are Resinserts®?
A: Resinserts® are a patented, one-piece anchoring system with a blind tapped hole, designed to provide hidden, durable fixings for a wide variety of materials.

• M4  insert with a base of 14mm diameter by 7.5mm high
• M5   insert with a base of 14mm diameter by 7.5mm high
• M6   insert with a base of 14mm diameter by 7.5mm high
• M8  insert with a base of 20mm diameter by 15mm high

Q: How do Resinserts® work?
A: Resinserts® are inserted into a pre-drilled pocket or blind hole in the substrate material. Resin is then injected into the fixing via one of the slots, filling the core ring cavity. Once set, the resin bonds securely with the substrate material, creating a strong, locked anchor point. The unique design prevents rotation or dislodgement by the shape of the resin cast around them.

Q: What materials can Resinserts® be used with?
A: Resinserts® are versatile and can be used with a wide range of materials, including solid surfaces (e.g., Staron, Corian types) acrylics, solid laminate panels, carbon fibre, granite, cement, glass fibre, and composites. They are also compatible with 3D-printed parts, model boards, and plastics like ABS, HIPS, and PLA.

As long as the material is solid and a hard-setting resin can fully bond with the substrate material, the Resinsert® will hold.
The resin doesn’t need to bond to the Resinsert® itself, just to the substrate material.
It’s the unique shape cast around the Resinsert® that provides the hold both in torque and tension.

A: Resinserts® are designed to support heavy loads— M4 above 800 kg in certain substrates—M8 over 1000kg in certain substrates, making them ideal for applications requiring strong, hidden anchor points.
